1902 Army Presentation Sword

This sword was adopted in July 1902 by the Army for all officers' except Chaplains, this sword is still the current regulation presentation sword for US Army officers. The tempered high carbon steel blade is etched with "US" and a foliage pattern.
The three-branched decorated guard is plated with nickel silver. The nickel plated pommel features an eagle's head.
The black grip is molded for the fingers. The steel scabbard is nickel platted with decorative brass mounts.
The original patterns of the Ames Sword Company were used to make this sword.
