1/700 U.S.S. Ingraham FFG-61 (Late Hull)

This kit accurately represents a late- and long-hull variant, consistent with the propulsion system fitted to this frigate. The kit provides ship modelers with an accurate FFG-61 that is replete with details. The accurately shaped hull comes with the option of either a waterline or full hull, which give modelers more choice in how to present their finished model. The high-quality molded plastic parts are complemented by photo-etched parts like railings and antennas that add a touch of class. The Cartograf decals offer accurate markings for the U.S.S. Ingraham and provide a fine finishing touch. This fine kit is ready to be launched on some modeler’s workbench!

About the U.S.S. Ingraham:
The USS Ingraham (FFG-61) was launched in June 1988 as the final Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate of the U.S. Navy. This class was purchased in the 1970s and 1980s as a general-purpose escort vessel, and was designed to replace aging WWII-era destroyers. The frigate is 138.1m long (a long-hull version) and has a displacement of 4100 tons. It carries a pair of SH-60 Seahawk helicopters, while the RAST (Recovery Assist Securing and Traversing) system, a hook and winch, can reel in a Seahawk in flight.
